Cameron Gannon pumped for one-day debut

Young Bulls quick Cameron Gannon is hoping his first domestic one-day match on Saturday is not as boring as his Sheffield Shield debut against Tasmania.

After launching his Shield career with a lively opening over, Gannon ended the clash with the figures of 4-2-3-0 as rain wiped out three-and-a-half days' play before a draw was declared.

"If you're a fast bowler, the Gabba is a great place to play."

Gannon, who could sneak under the radar this season, wasn't sure if he could inflict any pain on a Bushrangers side boasting some quality batsmen.

"I don't think I can just go out there and hurt people," he said.

Gannon and fellow paceman Ben Laughlin are the only changes to the Bulls side who lost their opening one-day clash to Tasmania in Brisbane last week when the new split-innings format was launched.

Laughlin comes into the one-day squad for the first time this season, with he and Gannon replacing Australian one day all-rounder James Hopes and Feldman
