The third and final ODI between India and Australia at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, Goa was called off because of wet ground conditions following overnight rains.
The umpires made an inspection at 0900 hours, the scheduled time of start and found the outfield wet. They will make another inspection at 1100 hrs.
Prospects of play after the delayed start looked bright with the sun coming out this morning, but the local weather bureau has predicted heavy rainfall for Sunday and Monday. The ground was covered by tarpaulins overnight which protected most parts of it but still there was some seepage in the outfield.

The wicket itself looked dry and fit for play.
