Rogers went into the match with a meniscus torn from the bone in his left knee and is expected to undergo surgery next week which will keep him sidelined until early in the new year.
The 33-year-old moved with some discomfort and at one point during Thursday's run chase appeared to ask Tigers skipper George Bailey for a runner.
Not surprisingly, Rogers' request was dismissed with a wave of Bailey's hand.
Rogers will miss the Bushrangers' four Shield matches scheduled for November and December, but is expected to be available for the first game of 2011 against Tasmania at Bellerive from February 11-14.
