Johnnie Walker Aussie Fans' XI has been named to face the Johnnie Walker ACA All*Stars line-up at the Gabba on Sunday night.
Following the announcement of the Australian Team for the first Vodafone Ashes Test match in Brisbane, Cricket Australia can confirm the players selected for the Johnnie Walker Aussie Fans’ XI to take on the Johnnie Walker ACA All*Star Team in a Twenty20 exhibition match on Sunday night at the Gabba.
While the ACA All*Star Team was selected by players after last year’s KFC Big Bash, the Aussie Fans’ XI was voted for online by cricket fans around the country over the last six weeks.
Players in the Vodafone Ashes Test squad have been excluded from both teams participating in this match.
The Johnnie Walker All*Star Twenty20 will be broadcast live around Australia on Channel 9 from 6.30pm (local time).
West Indian powerhouse Kieron Pollard headlines the talented ACA All*Stars line up.
The Johnnie Walker Fans XI is: Matthew HAYDEN (Captain), Callum FERGUSON, Aaron FINCH, Phillip HUGHES, David HUSSEY, Stephen O'KEEFE, Mitchell MARSH, Clint McKAY, Dirk NANNES, Nathan RIMMINGTON, Luke RONCHI and Cameron WHITE.
