A CHOICE between a fast bowler who has not played since the start of October or one who last wore the baggy green cap 10 months ago is exercising national selectors as they decide the make-up of Australia's pace attack for the first Test at the Gabba

'There's plenty of bowling and plenty of cricket coming up for me to get into swing,'' Bollinger said last night. ''I am bowling enough. Everything's going well at the moment, everything's on track.''

The 29-year-old will make his return to competitive cricket on Saturday week when he turns out for club side Fairfield-Liverpool. Barring injury, he will be announced in Australia's first Test squad on November 15
