New South Wales fast bowler Brett Lee says he remains confident of playing for Australia at the 2011 ICC World Cup.
Lee showed he was back to his devastating best with a man-of-the-match performance against Western Australia in the Ryobi One-Day Cup at the WACA Ground, leading the Blues to a seven-run victory with 5-47 off 10.4 overs and he said he's feeling as good as ever.
"I'm just enjoying my cricket, whether that's playing for the Blues, or in two weeks time playing for Wellington, I'm just trying to keep taking wickets and leading the boys to a victory."
"I felt good in Brisbane in the last match that I played, but I felt like I wasn't quite hitting the crease hard enough, so tonight I let the hand break off and let it go."
His third one-day domestic century, and first since his 116 against NSW a year and a day ago, saw him finish on 132 from 135 balls with 13 fours and three sixes, including a massive six off O'Keefe to bring up his century.
"(He was left out) purely to look after his body and to spend a bit of time getting ready for Sunday's Sheffield Shield game," Lee said.
"He's been through a few highs and a few lows in the last couple of days and he got a late, five-hour flight here last night, so it would've been a pretty big ask for him to back up and play today."
